The King And His Future Castle

Ok so here we go, first official sports blog post. And what else would I talk about today than the most talked about topic in sports for the past couple of weeks, Lebron James. What else can you say about Lebron that basically everyone else hasn't. The man is by far the best player in the league, and quite possibly on his way to being the best of all time, but whats stopping him from claiming the title that most people would say Michael Jordan holds? A championship ring!!!!!!! Lebron is going into his 8th season of professional basketball, and still has not won a championship. Why is this? Well personally I think it's because of the team he has been with all these years. One man does not make a team, a player like James needs another player to be his support system. He cant do it alone Cleveland!!! Now the speculation is that he is looking at a couple of teams to go to next season because as most of you know by now, he is a free agent. The five teams he's looking towards are Cleveland Cavaliers, Chicago Bulls, New York Knicks, Miami Heat or the New Jersey Nets. Now lets look at the places he probably wont go in my opinion, New Jersey, I just don't see any reason for him to go there when there is so much more opportunity in basically every other team that wants him. So should he stay in Cleveland?? I say HELL NO!! Whats there in Cleveland for him professionally? I mean sure he's from Ohio, he started out here, it is HIS team at this point. But at the same token, What have they done for him, not much. I mean, he could have went to any other team in the NBA and did the same thing, its just a shame that he hasn't gotten a ring with them yet. People are saying that if he doesnt stay in Cleveland he will become the villain and its going to be called "The Betrayal" but honestly, when there is so much room for career development in New York or Miami. If he goes to New York, he would be teaming up with their already confirmed acquisition, Amare Stoudemire and put the Knicks on the map of the NBA for playoff contention. To me that would be a personal favorite choice because of the fact that Lebron James is my favorite basketball player, and I am a New Yorker who would finally have a reason to cheer for the Knicks, I along with so many other New Yorkers dont cheer for the Knicks because, well lets be honest there hasn't been any reason to. Another choice that I wouldn't mind would be if he went to Miami because Dwayne Wade is another favorite player of mine so to see them team up and then throw Bosh into the mix, is just begging for exciting basketball. But personally I think the best choice for Lebron is to go to Miami because it's where he has the greatest potential to win a championship, forget what everyone says, athletes start sports because they dream of one day winning a championship because its proof, written proof that you and your team are better than the rest, thats what athletes thrive off of, being the best or being a part of the best team. Miami is where that's going to happen for James.
Since I haven't been able to come up with anything else to write about in my blog im going to just make it into a blog about one of the only things i do know about, sports. I watch essentially every sport, so I figure I can talk about major events in sports and my thoughts and predictions. I am a sports fan so I will be a little biased but, I will try my best to impartial. Just so everyone knows, my top three sports are Soccer, Baseball and Football and I am a Manchester United, Yankee and Jets fan. Ive got a ton of favorite athletes so im not gonna sit here and list them all. So any questions or events or topics or whatever you want to ask about or debate me on I am willing to post anyones comments in my blog, so hit me up.
